The generous spirit of Raymond James’ employees enabled Enviros to support a number of people who use our services this holiday season – a jolly gift worth more than you can imagine. Raymond James is one of North America’s leading full-service investment dealers with an extensive presence across Canada and the United States.

Through the funds raised, Raymond James was able to sponsor a family of 5 and  2 teen girls in one of Enviros residential programs.

Raymond James helped Enviros to fulfill the following wish list items for a family who is experiencing poverty, a lack of natural supports and challenges in meeting the most basic needs of their children this holiday season.

Mom: Kobo touch

Dad: Workboots (Steel toe) and socks

Child One: 2 t-shirts (long sleeve), New Halo game

This year , one of Enviros residential programs has two female clients who are working hard on their own treatment goals so that that can contribute more fully to their community. Because of the support from Raymond James, Enviros is fortunate enough to give Christmas gifts to the girls to open on Christmas morning.

Youth 1 has been at the residential program for almost three months now and is working through some major traumatic events that have taken place in her personal life this past year. She is an incredibly brave and thoughtful young lady who is soaking up the resources Enviros has to offer so she can provide herself with a positive and healthy life when she leaves custody. Because of support from Raymond James, Enviros is able to give her a new watch, pajamas and a new outfit for Christmas. She is looking forward
to her first home visit since entering custody taking place on Christmas Day.

Youth 2 loves to cook and clean, she takes great pride in the program’s cleanliness and ensuring everyone gets a good meal at dinnertime. She will be cooking Christmas dinner for her family here at the program and is looking forward to seeing family and showing them how far she has come.

Youth 2 is sweet and caring and is eager to finish her sentence so she can put the past behind her and move on to live a happy and healthy life. Because of your generosity, Enviros was able to buy her a pair of fleece pajamas, a warm scarf and matching sweater, a watch and a pack of scented body wash and lotion. Enviros is incredibly proud to be working with both of these young ladies and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them both.

On behalf of everyone at Enviros, thank you for helping to change the present this holiday season! Generosity from community members like you enables Enviros to continue the quality work they do with vulnerable children, youth and families in Alberta.
