Base Camp teachers and clients spent the first snow fall cross country skiing and created a collaborative poem.
The intention was to highlight gratitude for their first experience cross country skiing in a winter wonderland!
And so, a poem for you to enjoy and perhaps reflect on your own gratitudes this holiday season.
First Snow at Base Camp
I’m so grateful to be standing in this winter wonderland.
It’s always best in the cold,
to start off bold.
White snow, winter glow.
I like the snow on the evergreens, don’t you know?
Heavy quilt makes faint the shrill,
glitter blows in the wind
and cheeks are cold and rosy,
though the snow looks as one, it is many.
