The Enviros community had an opportunity to attend the HOPE Awards that aim to honor the breadth, and depth and diversity of the work individuals and organizations do in the Calgary and area community.

We were thrilled our very own Jackie Peters, Support Worker for the FASD Evolution Program was recognized for her passion and dedication to the work she does to support Alberta’s most vulnerable citizens.

About the HOPE Awards:

“The inaugural Aspen Family & Community Network HOPE Awards took place in 2005. A young girl whose family was working with Aspen during a difficult time inspired the celebration. Even though Hope and her family were receiving support, the stories of their families moved her to action. Hope – a small girl with a big heart – spurred Aspen to honour all our collective contributions to Calgary and area community.

Nominated by Aspen staff or board members, the HOPE Awards celebrate partner agencies, funders, donors, volunteers, staff and board members, and their demonstration of the Aspen Values” (Content pulled from HOPE Awards program).

Congratulations to Jackie Peters and to all of the HOPE Awards winners!
