Student Health Partnership Initiative: Family-School Liaison Program

The Student Health Partnership initiative focuses on early intervention, by offering family-school liaison, mental health, speech/language pathology, and occupational and physical therapy services to the Calgary Board of Education for school age children who would not normally qualify for other programs.

The program is designed to assist students facing physical, mental health and social concerns that keep them from succeeding in school. When a social-emotional concern is identified by the school, a Family-School Liaison worker will work with the family, school and student to support a plan of action.
