Trust treatment centre provides a competency based treatment program to young people with behavioural issues. Counselling, academics, and wilderness experience combine in a therapeutic environment to create a holistic approach to the treatment of behavioural problems.

Principals of Social Behaviour
Youth come to Trust with a variety of issues. Often presented in combination, these issues are overwhelming enough to affect the social functioning of these young people, and place extreme stresses on those closest to them. The goal is to stabilize their behaviour in an environment positively reinforcing the principles of acceptable behaviour.

Responsibility and Independence
Trust offers an environment where young people are able to address their difficulties and change their behaviours. By providing young people with the opportunity to attain incremental levels of responsibility and independence, the program teaches them how to make positive choices and take responsibility for their actions.

Trust incorporates an extensive wilderness component into its therapeutic program. Offering young people opportunities to participate in Enviros' experientially based programming enhances their self- reliance and relationship skills. At Trust, young people also participate in clinical counselling, family therapy, and an on-site school offers academic and alternative schooling.
