Joel Tennison


Mr. Tennison serves as President of the board of the Enviros, a positon he has held since 2013 and has been a Board Member since 2001.

Joel is Vice-President, Corporate Development & Legal and Corporate Secretary for RS Technology Inc., a customer and technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures composite utility poles.

His professional background includes the practice of corporate and securities law, marketing experience with technology companies and equity research for a Canadian investment dealer. Mr. Tennison holds degrees in business and law and has been an active member of the Law Society of Alberta since 2007.

Mark Jennings


Mr. Jennings serves as a Director on the Enviros Board, a position he has held for the past eight years.

Mark is a retired business man. Mark worked in the Trucking industry for 10 years then went on to work for a glass company for three years before starting and founding his own company House of Mirror Ltd., in 1987.

Mark sold his interest in the company in 2013 but remains a part-time consultant with the company. Mark has been an active member of the Kinsmen Club of Calgary for the past seven years.

Alistair McKnight


Mr. McKnight has been an Enviros Board Member serving as a Director since April 2015.

Alistair is a Project Director with PCL Construction Management Inc., having joined the company in 2006.  Prior to joining PCL, Alistair worked in the United Kingdom as a Bid Manager/Estimator with Laing O’Rouke.

Alistair has a Master’s Degree, Construction Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours, Building Design Engineering, 1st Class from the University of Strathclyde.

Kris Bibby


Kris is Vice President, Finance of ARC Resources and is responsible for ARC’s financial risk and research, treasury and information technology related activities.

He has over 18 years of experience in finance and accounting roles within the oil and gas industry.

Prior to joining ARC in 2014, Kris held the position as Chief Financial Officer at a junior oil and gas company with international operations.

He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and is a member of the Alberta Chartered Professional Accountants.

Josh Malate


Josh has been on the Board of Directors for Enviros since 2017 and serves on the Audit & Finance Committee.

Josh is an entrepreneur by passion and has started or joined numerous companies in phases of high growth and innovation.  As part of his work, Josh founded Fresh Angles Inc., a business advisory firm that focuses on the needs of small organizations.

Josh plays a strong role in the Calgary community as a longtime supporter of youth education. Josh has impacted thousands of youth through his work with Bishop Grandin High School, Rhapsody Winter Corps and Youth Programs at the Calgary Stampede. In addition, Josh sits on the boards of Highbanks Society and the Aspire Legal Access Initiative.

Josh holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA.

Lisa Olsen


Mrs. Olsen has been an Enviros Board Member since February 2015.

Lisa is Vice President, Human Resources of ARC Resources, and oversees ARC’s human resources, internal communications, office services and records information management functions. She has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources. Lisa joined ARC in 2008.

Prior to joining ARC, she spent over ten years in human resources functions working in both Canadian oil and gas and for a major international consumer brand. Lisa has a Bachelor of Communications from Simon Fraser University and an HR Management Certificate from the BC Institute of Technology.

Yasmin Dean


Dr. Yasmin Dean recently re-joined the Enviros Board Member in April 2017. She also served as an Enviros Board Member from 200-2015 and was also co-vice chair from 2012-2015.

Yasmin is the Chair of the department of Child Studies and Social Work at Mount Royal University (MRU). She considers herself a strong advocate for experiential education and is honoured to be working with Enviros in its efforts to create healthy communities.

Yasmin holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Calgary.

Trevor Josephson


Dr. Josephson has been an Enviros Board Member serving as a Director since 2008.

Trevor is the founder of Josephson Psychological Services Ltd. and provides psychological services to children, teens, and adults. Services include individual, couple, family, and group therapy. Prior to founding Josephson Psychological Services Ltd., Trevor was a Psychologist at William Roper Hull Child & Family Services for three years.

Trevor holds a Ph. D in Education Psychology from the University of Calgary, a Master of Arts Degree from the University of West Georgia in Humanistic Psychology and a BA in Sociology / Psychology from the University of British Columbia.

Francesca Simon


Ms. Simon has been an Enviros Board Member serving as a Director since April 2015.

Francesca is a Wellness Services Administrator at Mount Royal University, a position she has held since 2006. Prior to joining Mount Royal University, Francesca was a Risk Consultant at Innovative Risk Consulting and a Community Liaison with Ghost River Rediscovery.

Ms. Simon has a Master of Arts (M.A.), Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor’s degree, Health and Physical Education/Fitness from McGill University. She also has a Certificate – Canadian Risk Management, Human Capital Risk Analysis & Management from Simon Fraser University.
