Help Families in Need During the Holiday Season

There are many reasons to celebrate the Holidays – Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa are few of the times where people gather together to enjoy the season. For many individuals and families, the holiday season can be a very stressful time. Each year, we see an increase in the number of individuals and families requiring assistance during this time. Enviros relies on the support of our community to ensure that we can help those who approach us.

Whether you are a large corporation or an individual/group of friends who are on a budget, Enviros can match someone with you. With hundreds of individuals and families accessing our 13 programs, we will work with you to ensure that the family, child, youth or program that you are helping is a good fit for you.

There are many ways to support our programs, and you can specify which program your donation goes to, or you can give it to the area with the greatest need.

Enviros will provide you or your business with a thank you letter letting you know who you helped, a charitable tax receipt, and a mention in our annual report to the community.

Adopt a Family, Individual or a Program

Adopting a family, individual or a program can drastically change the season for those who are in need. Enviros will provide you with a description of who you are helping, their circumstances and their needs – from there, you can get creative and help to make their holiday better.

Give The Gift of a Holiday Meal

Providing a holiday meal to an individual or family in need is a great gift to give. The gift of quality time together over a good meal is uplifting for all of us. Relieve the holiday stress by giving one of our programs, families or individuals the knowledge that that they do not have to worry about their holiday meal.

Host a Fundraiser

Whether you are corporation or an individual/group of friends who are wanting to support those in need this holiday season, Enviros will work with you to ensure that your donations go where you want them to go. We have 13 programs who are in need during the holiday season and we work hard to ensure that everyone is taken care of. We can not do this without your help.
Are you hosting a personal or work Christmas party? You can ask everyone to bring a gift or gift card and donate these to our individuals, programs and families. The list of possible fundraisers can range from bake sales to business owners who want to donate proceeds of their sales to Enviros. No fundraiser is too big or too small.

Make a Cash Donation

Cash donations ensure that we have money on hand for urgent requests that come in during the holidays. Our holiday fund allows us to assist individuals who find themselves in need of food, clothing and items during the season.
