In partnership with Child and Family Services Authority’s Aboriginal Services Office, Mahmawi-atoskiwin works alongside individuals and their family to create a Family Wellness Team.  Mahmawi-Atoskiwin is an alliance of three agencies:  Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, Enviros and Pathways Community Service Association

In addition to the core competency requirements below, the program manager for Mahmawi-atoskiwin is responsible to oversee the delivery of services for Mahmawi-atoskiwin.  Mahmawi-atoskiwin works in partnership with those listed above to support Indigenous families who are becoming involved with Child and Family Services.  The function of the manager involves assisting with the day to day service delivery; supporting culture as part of service delivery; over-seeing the overall goals and outcomes objectives; supporting staff and providing supervision to direct reports; budgeting and program development.

Knowledge and Skill Requirement:

  • Bachelors of Human Services preferred, or a related degree with experience
  • Must have experience in delivery and/or management of programs in the human services field
  • Must have previous experience in a Management position
  • A preference of six or more years’ experience working directly with children, youth and families

This position is part of a collaborative with various reporting lines.
