High Fidelity Wraparound (HFWA) to Cease Operations
It is with great sadness that we announce that the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFWA) program will officially cease operation as of February 2, 2020. This is the result of provincial budget cuts to the program. We wish the very best to our extraordinary staff, as well as those we served via HFWA.
Enviros has been utilizing High Fidelity Wraparound since 2007 and it has been an important guide in creating our practice frameworks over the past 10 years. We are proud of the work that has occurred through this highly impactful and innovative process, and believe it represents some of the best leading practices of its time. We look forward to continuing to see Wraparound’s principles integrated into our work in other programs as we move forward.
High Fidelity Wraparound would like to say thank you to Children’s Services for being our program funder and believing in the model. Thank you for recognizing that at its core, Wraparound utilizes a theory of change based on the principle that if families have a network of supports and are able to develop an integrated plan that meets the their needs and goals, they can then develop self-efficacy to move towards a hopeful future for themselves.
We would also like to acknowledge the work that happened with our collaborative partners over the years, supporting and growing together as we implemented this process in Calgary, and to thank our HFWA teams (including our staff, natural supports and other professionals involved) for their dedication, passion, and commitment to supporting the needs and goals voiced by our youth and families.
