The Program – Connects and Passages

Connects – provides live-in support to children aged six to thirteen. The highly structured program includes therapeutic support to assist in goal development.

Passages – serves young people between 13 and 17 who are under the care of Children’s Services, and who have been impacted by trauma, abuse, or family breakdown.

 The Position – Manager
The Manager is involved in all aspects of programming, service development and delivery, staffing, community connection, team development, and supporting best practice for Community Services. The role is dynamic in working onsite with programs, as well as contributing to the agency Management and Leadership teams.

For Consideration Applicants Will Need to Demonstrate the Following

The successful applicant will strong knowledge of Children’s Services, child/youth programming, and live-in programs. You will be able to work with multiple community partners and stakeholders.

  • Degree/Diploma in the Human Service field
  • Minimally 3 – 5 years’ experience in leadership roles
  • Experience in program development, management, and program oversite
  • A current criminal record check including vulnerable sector (completed within the last 6 months)
  • A current Alberta Intervention Record check (completed within the last 12 months)
